Applying curd on the face with olive oil and lemon juice ends the dryness of the face. For this, you have to make a paste of curd, lemon, and gram flour. Leave it on your face for 15 minutes. After that wash the face with clean water. Applying curd on the face makes the skin glows, reduces, and cures pimples and the skin glows. If the face is massaged with curd, it acts like bleach, which makes your face glow. You can also use curd for shiny hair. After applying curd to the hair, leave it for half an hour. After that wash your hair with little warm water. Curd is used as a hair conditioner.

  • After sunburn on the skin in summer, it should be rubbed with curd, it provides benefits from sunburn and tan.
  •  During the summer season, buttermilk made from curd should be consumed in large quantities. Because drinking buttermilk and lassi cools the heat of the stomach. Consuming curd daily increases the body’s ability to fight diseases.

The digestive system remains strong and active. Today this curd has been replaced by ‘tea’. Now we have more bile acidity, ulcers, gas, anorexia, and listlessness there than before. Earlier we used curd extensively there, but since the British rule, with the blind imitation of western customs, our original healthy custom of drinking curd, and buttermilk has died out and as a result, we have seen an increase in digestive system diseases and heart disease over the last hundred years. According to Ayurveda, it is not healthy to consume curd after sunset.
